I haven't read any of homestuck 2 apart from when it first launched (holy shit, they ruined my boy dirk) but i did check out this update and the artstyle shift fucks so hard. It looks so Y2K. It fucks.

Honestly they ruined more than just Dirk. Rose and Jade got character assassinated hard. They made Jade a fetish character and Rose cheats on kanaya in each timeline. It was so bad that they had to basically make a new team for it. I literally have no clue how they gon fix this shit. My only hope is that they make daverezi a thing again in one way or another because it was kind of implied in the update
